Hello and welcome! The Nonprofit Partnership team is excited to invite you to Erie, Pennsylvania to the Keystone Nonprofit Conference. KeyCon is an opportunity for nonprofit professionals, volunteers, and advocates come together to learn, connect, and inspire change. We've put together this FAQ page to help you find quick and clear answers to any questions you might have about the conference. Whether you’re curious about the schedule, the speakers, accommodations, or any other details, we've got you covered. What are the options for attendance?
KeyCon attendees can choose from one of three attendance options:

1. Tuesday, October 28 - Advanced Learning Labs
2. Wednesday, October 29 - General Conference (7:30 AM - 5:45 PM)
3. Both days
Will I be fed?
Food happens to be VERY important to the event organizers! You can expect the following:

Tuesday - light breakfast snacks, lunch buffet, snacks and beverages

Wednesday - full spread breakfast, lunch buffet, snacks, beverages, appetizers and an open bar to end the day
What should I bring?
You shouldn't need to bring much of anything! We'll have you covered with a conference goodie bag, a notepad and a pen for notes, and sustenance. Just don't forget your business cards!
What should I wear?
There is no dress code! Past attendees have followed the business casual route, though, if that's helpful. You will be sitting a lot.
I'm not from the area. Where should I stay?

Will materials be printed in advance?
No! In an effort to save trees, we will have handouts and presentation materials available online, post-conference.
Should I bother staying for the reception after the General Conference?
100%! Not only will delicious appetizers and libations be available, but we will also have live music and our Exhibitor Card Contest prize drawing.
Finance is hounding me for a receipt.
Can you help?
Absolutely! Please reach out and we'll get you what you need.
I decided I am a recluse and I no longer want to come. Can I get a refund?
Boooooo!
Refunds will not be available past October 1st.
I'm with a business and I'd love to get involved; who should I talk to?

How do I submit a speaker proposal?
Our 2026 Call for Speakers will launch at the end of October. Join our email list here so you don't miss the announcement.
How does the exhibitor card contest work?
It's so easy! Attendees will be provided with a card that lists all KeyCon exhibitors. Attendees who get their card marked by 10 or more exhibitors will be able to enter their card for the reception drawing. Note - attendees must be present to win!
Is their a virtual conference option?
Unfortunately, there is not. KeyCon is an in-person event.
Do I have to be associated with a member organization to attend?
No way - everyone is welcome. The only difference is that NPP members are able to receive special discounted ticket pricing!

I'm a nonprofit pro. Are there higher-level learning opportunities for for me?
Absolutely! All sessions on Day One: Intensive Learning Labs are part of our advanced learning track — designed for experienced nonprofit professionals ready to dive into strategy, innovation, and higher-level impact. The Day Two: General Conference also features several advanced learning sessions alongside general offerings. You’re welcome to mix and match sessions based on your interests and experience level.
